Welcome to Pluto Space Station.

One year ago, Earth fell, and with it, so did Pluto Space Station. But the dangers of the space station’s unknown fate haven’t deterred people from seeking the treasures left within it.

In The Lost, you play the role of a space looter on a mission to find eight items. However, you’re not alone — mutants roam the station and threaten to bring your journey to an early end. With your trusty weapon and some loot you’ll find on the way, your goal is not just success but also survival.

The Lost combines FPS mechanics with a post-apocalyptic story. What happened to Pluto Space Station? Why were you tasked to find such arbitrary items? Those questions will be answered as you explore, fight mutants and collect loot. And at the end, you’ll answer the most important one: Will you make it home?

Game Information

  • Genre: Thriller/Sci-fi
  • Playtime: <0.5h from start to end but this is a very rough estimate and can vary greatly from person to person
  • Difficulty: Easy to moderate, depending on FPS experience and set-up (much easier on a mouse than a trackpad)
  • Content Warnings: Might be classified as mild horror to some, although the developer is terrible with horror so it probably isn't that bad (more psychological than jump scares)

Known Issues/Recommendations

  • Only keyboard and mouse (or trackpad, although not ideal) is supported.
  • The game may take a few minutes to load! That is normal and it will work as long as the internet is fine, as verified by multiple testers.
  • The intended resolution and viewport size is 1280px by 720px. If it is cropped on the browser, please shrink the page size.
  • Key/Click spam may cause errors with the UI (especially with dialogues/sprinting). Please refrain from doing so!
  • In the unlikely event that an interaction does not work, try shifting the camera angle, moving closer or pressing the interact key [E] again. All interactions have been tested and are possible.
  • The collider of mutants is not exact to their shape and some shots may not land as expected. You are highly recommended to aim for the body. If you are struggling to fight them, try opening more loot crates — the energy cell (activated with [T]) is very helpful.
  • If your camera isn't moving with the cursor or keys aren't working, hit [ESC] and click the game screen again.
  • If the [ESC] command to close a game menu keeps causing the game to exit full screen, try using the command from outside full screen before going back to full screen.
